| This is the historic
plant of MESSIAN - the M in CMD – which
employs more than half CMD’s industrial
work force as well as the head office staff.
Here the parallel shaft, planetary and special
reduction gears are manufactured as are the
couplings. |

| Guérigny |

| This is the oldest
site as it came into existence even before
the French revolution which took place in
1789. It is also the most impressive in terms
of the size of the parts which are made there
and the Guérigny plant has a 39 tonne
iron foundry and equipment enabling it to
manufacture ring gears of up to 12 metres
in diameter. |

| Fourchambault |

| Established by the
Durand family in 1922, this plant has the
expertise for manufacturing wheel and worm
reduction gears. The name of Durand –
the D in CMD – remains synonymous with
a high level of technical skill. |
